We updated the Linux kernel to 3.2 to support more hardware (more graphic cards, more WLAN cards) out-of-the-box.

Gnome 2

We stuck with Gnome 2.

Click on tap

On notebooks with touchpad, Click on tap is enabled by default.

CTRL_ALT_Backspace

The key combination CTRL_ALT_Backspace performs a X server restart.

Support for more hardware

We added firmware-linux-nonfree to support more hardware out-of-the-box.

Firefox 14.1

We built Firefox 14.1 for Debian's base and integrated it into Snowlinux 3 XFCE.

Thunderbird 14

We built Thunderbird 14.1 for Debian's base and integrated it into Snowlinux 3 XFCE.

Terminal background

We modified the Snowlinux-Metal-Theme to use a black background for the XFCE terminal.

LibreOffice

We integrated the new office suite LibreOffice 3.5.4 into Snowlinux 3 Crystal.

RAR

We integrated unrar to be able to manage RAR files (packaging, extracting etc.).

P7Zip

We integrated p7zip to be able to manage 7z files (packaging, extracting etc.).
