The team is proud to announce the release of Snowlinux 3 E17.

Today is a very important day for Snowlinux. It is getting a new project with the latest E17 build desktop environment. Snowlinux 3 E17 is based upon Debian "Wheezy" 7.0 and is powered by the Linux 3.5 kernel. We're using DuckDuckGo as default search engine. It has installed Firefox 14.0.1, Thunderbird 14, Abiword, Shotwell, Audacious and Gnome-MPlayer by default.

Upstream information:
Snowlinux 3 E17 is based upon Debian GNU/Linux 7.0 "Wheezy". It comes with the Linux kernel 3.5 and E17. It has installed Firefox 14.0.1, Thunderbird 14, Abiword, Shotwell, Audacious and Gnome-MPlayer by default.
Life cycle:
Snowlinux 3 E17 is supported until February 2016.
Compatibility with Debian:
Snowlinux 3 E17 is 100 % compatible with Debian's Repository.

The md5sum you posted can be confirmed at first.
But the local ISO build has a different md5sum.
So the ISO even on the server might be wrong although it seems to pass all tests so far.
