We are looking forward to your comment on this release. Thank you for using Snowlinux and enjoy this new release.

When I tried to change the resolution from the basic 1920 x 1080 to something I can actually see: 1280 x 800, I found out that Snowlinux has only the 1920 x 1080 resolution available.
It also said it could not detect my monitor, though the screen looked ok, just that everything was too small for me to see it comfortably.
Any suggestions?
Edit by Lars: You need to install proprietary graphic drivers. Which graphic card do you have?
Edit by Lars: Yes, no and no.
The other fast distro is Solus OS - also based on Debian.
Edit by Lars: Thank you for your praise.
Sorry for my not good english ! :-)

Edit by Lars: Please start via compatiblity mode.
And maybe, just maybe, it is better to leave it at the last update of Debian squeeze.
-description for gnome
-description for XFCE
-description for gnome & XFCE again *that should be e17 instead*
e17 32-bit download would complete straight away at 0 bytes, but gnome is downloading normally under same ancient version of firefox in xp
-will try newer version of browser, or from a linux OS:)
Edit by Lars: The E17 edition was deactivated for the moment.
Edit by Lars: Thank you.
