Snowlinux 3 E17 was deactivated for this week, but will be back online later next week again. It was kept due to a release critical bug. This bug doesn't affect installed editions. Unfortunately the bug was first seen as the release was already there.
Snowlinux 3 "Ubuntu-based" will be called "White". "White" is english and can be compared with the color of the Snow. It will be based upon Ubuntu 12.10.
Snowlinux 3 "White" will feature two different Desktop environments: MATE 1.4 and Cinnamon 1.6. MATE and Cinnamon will feature seperate ISO images to be able to be more integrated in the system. Both, MATE and Cinnamon can used together and it can be installed via meta-package. The Linux kernel is 3.5. The pre-installed programs are Firefox & Thunderbird 16, LibreOffice 3.6, Banshee and Shotwell.
In contrast to Ubuntu, it won't be ship with any kind of Amazon advertising.
The release should be out at the beginning of November 2012 and it will be supported until October 2013. An upgrade from Snowlinux 2 is possible.

I'm trying Snowlinux 3.1 Debian and works perfectly, loving Gnome2 I was thinking why not to put Gnome 2.32.1 (the Natty's Classic one) graphicly nicer, a lot, instead of Gnome 2.30 but anyway Crystal is great, stable and already has all the apps i'd choose to install.
If it's possible to upgrade Gnome 2.30 to Gnome 2.32.1 i would like to know how it works.
Now I'm on the question:
Why you're gonna use for White the Mate 1.4 instead of Gnome2 used for Crystal?
Is the last Ubuntu made to avoid this possibility?
I've tried Natty and Precise+Mate1.4 on the same harddisc in dual boot, when i'm on Natty i can open Precise partition without passwd, scared me a bit.
Thanks for all your work, looking forward to your reply.
