Snowlinux is a set of Linux distributions based on Debian's latest stable release and four different desktop environments.
It aims to be user-friendly, incorporating many useful tweaks and carefully selected software applications to improve the work environment without losing the stability and performance of Debian.
Linux is getting more popularity and should be as easy as Microsoft Windows.
We also develop a second, separate Linux distribution which is a Ubuntu-based edition featuring the Gnome Shell and MATE (a fork of Gnome 2) desktop.
Snowlinux 2 is called "Ice" and is based upon the stable and latest Debian 6 "Squeeze" with LTS Linux kernel 2.6.32, chromium-browser, icedove, banshee and shotwell.
The ISO is going soon into QA and will pass it.
Snowlinux will be released this Februar.
Snowlinux 2, based on Debian 6 "Squeeze", will be released in Februar this year under the codename “Ice”.
